Lake Tahoe Luxury Boat Rentals is a division of SWA Watersports, which has been in the Lake Tahoe boat rental and charter business for over 12 years. We have a short term rental business located in Homewood, CA and also a luxury long term rental business based in Incline Village. One of our biggest client’s is Tahoe Luxury Properties with whom we’ve been doing business with for over 10 years. We outfit lakefront rental homes with high end boats and watersports equipment. We know how to cater to client’s and service & maintain our boats & equipment!
6–8 members per boat. The amount of members per boat will be set once we get enough members to fill a boat that are looking to do the same amount of boating days and that cost. Less members per boat equates to more boating days and vice versa. There is price comparison chart on the website boat club page breaking down these options.
Members will call our office to place reservations. There will be a shared Google Calendar to view showing available and booked dates.
A one time initiation fee of $12,000 - $15,000 and monthly fee of $1,050–$1,350 depending on whether you are contracted for a 6 , 7, or 8 member boat. See cost comparison chart above for more details.
No, you will never encounter usage charges. You are only responsible for the cost of the fuel that they use. You will start your day of boating with a full tank of fuel and we will fill it back up once you’re done. The cost of the fill-up can be charged to your account.
No, our boats will be kept on the water during the boating season. This will ensure no delays or cancellations due to overcrowded boat ramps or low water conditions.
If all members have an equal amount of uses, you can expect to go out up to 14 – 18 times, which will depend on whether you’re part of a 6, 7, or 8 member boat. Though this number can be greater since some members will not be able to go out as often as others.
Either Ski Beach in Incline Village or High & Dry Marina in Homewood. These pickup and drop-off locations will be based on weather conditions (high winds &/or thunderstorms) and convenience. On southwest (Lake Tahoe’s prevailing wind direction) moderate to high wind days the boating is far better and safer along Lake Tahoe’s West shore.
You will start your day of boating with a full tank of fuel. Burning through a full tank would be very difficult in a single day on the water. If for any reason fuel is needed during your time on the water, a map with fuel dock locations and instructions will be on the boat. This will also be covered in your mandatory boat training and safety session.
Anyone you’d like, except for pets, and only up to the capacity that we have set.
Boat club members are required to complete a boat safety training and operation class with one our expert staff members. Members and additional operators will be required to sign release waivers.
No, these are private boats that are to be used by members only.
